Despite the difficult circumstances, fear and despair, David Hathaway’s Ministry in Israel continues uninterrupted. That is because we care for the Russian Holocaust survivors not by our strength, but by God’s Power. Because He opens the doors for us, many are accepting Jesus as their personal Saviour.
Who we help in Israel: three Holocaust survivors tell their stories
David Hathaway first traveled to Israel in the early 1960s, organising the first over-land trip by road from Britain to Israel. From that point, David’s heart was burdened for Israel, seeking to bring blessing to its people, longing to see the fulfilment of Bible prophecy.
Each month we support Russian-Holocaust survivors living in Israel, providing them with practical and spiritual support. These are the stories of three of the recipients.

September Humanitarian Aid Distribution in Israel
During September, over their most holy days, Israel was once again living under lockdown and restriction. Thousands of new coronavirus cases were reported each day, overwhelming hospitals, and Covid-19 deaths were steadily climbing. Fear and depression are gripping the hearts of young and old. However, David Hathaway’s Ministry in Israel stands firmly in faith, continuing to serve and love God’s people.
August Humanitarian Aid Distribution in Israel
During August our staff in Israel offered prayers, made visits, had fellowship, and supplied humanitarian aid with many Russian Holocaust Survivors and their families living in Israel. What makes our work in Israel so special and unique is the full-time spiritual care and support shown by our devoted staff.

Celebrating 70 Years in Ministry
On Saturday 27 June, David Hathaway celebrated 70 years in ministry with an online service of thanksgiving, dedication and commissioning. For 70 years David has preached the Gospel throughout Russia, Ukraine, Israel and Europe. Asked to pastor a church at 18, just three months after starting Bible college, and holding his first tent mission a few months later, David has seen the power of God and miracles of healing from the very beginning of his ministry.
Online Day of Prayer for Ukraine
The fifth National Day of Prayer for Ukraine, held Saturday 6 June, was organised by the Ministry of David Hathaway in co-operation with all the main church denominations in Ukraine. Because of Covid-19, the service was held online and broadcast on four Christian TV channels: CNL, New Christian, HopeTV and for the very first time by EWTN Ukraine – member of worldwide Catholic TV network. The event was also streamed on YouTube and Facebook in two languages, with sign language on the Ukrainian stream.
